Patients continued their other non-insulin diabetes medications. Certain diabetes medications were discontinued at the start of the study. 26-week study in 588 adult patients with type 2 diabetes new to insulin and not yet controlled on one or more of their current diabetes medications; once-weekly Awiqli® vs insulin degludec U-100. Patients continued their other non-insulin diabetes medications. Certain diabetes medications were reduced at the start of the study.
