Elfabrio is an enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) that has been shown to work safely and effectively over the long term in adults with Fabry disease.† And with a long half-life, Elfabrio can last for a long time in your body.*

Elfabrio stays in your body between doses*

Efficacy

Proven efficacy shown in clinical studies‡

Safety

Generally well tolerated in clinical studies§

Patient experience

Maintenance infusion times as short as 90 minutes

*

Elfabrio has an initial half-life of 78.9 ± 10.3 hours. Clinical studies have not shown that a long half-life results in a medicine working better or more safely. Infusions are every 2 weeks.

†Trials within the Full Prescribing Information extend up to 2 years.
‡Elfabrio stabilized disease progression (stable kidney function based on a kidney function test, eGFR), in a 6-year study among people who had not been on a Fabry treatment before or took a break from treatment (>6 months) (in the Elfabrio full prescribing information, referred to as Trial 1).
Elfabrio demonstrated maintained kidney function and slowed disease progression, comparable to Fabrazyme, in a 2-year clinical trial among people who switched from Fabrazyme (agalsidase beta) (in the Elfabrio full prescribing information, referred to as Trial 2).
§Low rates of infusion reactions, adverse events, and anti-drug antibodies. In the BALANCE trial, people who switched to Elfabrio experienced low rates of side effects and infusion-associated reactions (IARs) compared to those who stayed on Fabrazyme. Even though similar percentages of people experienced IARs with each treatment, the frequency of IARs was lower in patients treated with Elfabrio.
Experience may vary. Maintenance infusions can be reduced over time to as short as 90 minutes, depending on the assessment of the physician and how the body responds. Elfabrio is administered every 2 weeks.

Managing Fabry can be challenging

Fabry is a progressive disease, which means it usually gets worse over time. Early diagnosis and treatment can increase your chances of managing Fabry symptoms and slowing down disease progression.

New to ERT?

Many people with Fabry disease put off treatment until symptoms become serious, at which time organ damage may have already begun.

Switching treatment?

Managing Fabry with treatment can be challenging over time due to factors like side effects, infusion time, and how well it’s working.
